Transferable Skills Course

Four Delta has again delivered a series of seminars on Transferable skills to a Master Of Research Course at the University of Liverpool. "How to survive as a Middle Manager" (2007) has been augmented by "Statistics and the Middle Manager". The additional seminars do not attempt to teach statistics as such but rather aim to inculcate an awareness of how statistics might be of help in a future career. In particular, the seminars highlight what statistical techniques are available and when to involve a professional statistician. The seminars concluded with advice on the importance of design before experimentation for effectiveness and economy. (NB If this approach is of interest to your business, please contact us.)

Surfactants Course

Four Delta has designed and delivered a course on surfactants appropriate to the Master of Research Course on the Physical Analysis of Biological Interactions on Surfaces at the University of Liverpool.

Commission

This year, Four Delta has again been approached by a large multinational company seeking to exploit our expertise to carry out a commission. A representative of the company declared that they were "very happy" with our report.
