MolviewGL Demo
Four Delta announces the availability of a free demonstration version of MolviewGL, our OpenGL molecular visualisation software for Microsoft Windows®. MolviewGL loads molecules in Brookhaven PDB format and supports many visualisation modes including stereoscopic and mesh surfacing.
Reflectance Anisotropy Spectroscopy
Four Delta is collaborating with Mott Medallist Professor Peter Weightman of the Department of Physics, University of Liverpool in seeking industrial applications for Reflectance Anisotropy Spectroscopy (RAS). This spectroscopic technique can provide an exceptionally sensitive probe for surfaces and for materials on surfaces.
Director Appointment
Dr Jeremy A. L. Rabone has been appointed a Director of Four Delta Consulting Ltd. as of March. Jeremy brings with him a wealth of experience in chemical computation and modelling. In the coming months Jeremy will post a gallery of examples of molecular modelling followed by "how to" demonstrations using Four Delta's Molview software.
The Chemical and Industrial Consultants Association
Senior Consultant Dr Kenneth Rabone is now a member of CICA, The Chemical and Industrial Consultants Association).
Source Code Available
Four Delta has made the Java source code for the Lorentz 3D demonstration freely available. The code is primarily intended as a demonstration of writing Java 3D programs, with possible educational use. Please feel free to contact us if you have any comments or questions.
