Use of S/MIME Email
Four Delta considers security and authenticity to be extremely important. All emails from Four Delta employees are signed using an S/MIME email certificate, currently issued by GlobalSign
In the unlikely event that your email software does not have the GlobalSign PersonalSign 2 certificates, you may see warnings from your software about unverifiable signatures or similar. To rectify this and ensure that email from the Four Delta domain is authentic, you should take the following steps:
- Download the GlobalSign PersonalSign 2 root and intermediate certificates. If your software does not recognise binary DER encoding, try the base64 encoded versions - these provide exactly the same information in a different encoding which may be better supported by your software.
- Install the certificates. You should be aware that by doing this you are trusting GlobalSign to authenticate any certificate signed by them, and you should understand the potential security implications of doing so.
